This 12-piece set replaces that with premium 304 stainless steel, with no coating to chip and no BPA or phthalates. Four of each means a clean plate, bowl and cup for every meal and snack without waiting on the dishwasher. It also works as one each for siblings, or as a spare at the grandparents', in the picnic bag.

The sizes are made for kids' meals, and they're just as handy for an adult's weekend porridge and BBQ. The steel is thicker than most comparable plates and bowls, so it handles daily drops at home and outdoors.

The 20cm plates have a raised edge that keeps food in. The 15cm bowls hold 600ml, deep enough for pasta, soup or cereal. The 350ml cups have removable silicone grips in four colours (Apricot, Seafoam, Wattle and Lavender), so the whose-cup-is-this argument is settled before it starts.

Everything is dishwasher safe and independently lab tested, with no plastic touching the food. Stainless steel dents before it breaks, so these do not crack, cloud or chip the way plastic does.

The Details

The four cup colours mean everyone knows whose is whose without labelling.
The plates are 0.6mm and the bowls 0.7mm 304 steel, thick enough to resist dents from drops, knocks off the table and the occasional camping trip.
Oats, pasta sauce and smoothies rinse clean from the electropolished bowls and cups with no lingering taste or smell, and the brushed plates wipe clean just as easily.

What should I look for in a kids stainless steel dinnerware set?

Four things matter most. The steel grade: 304 (also written 18/8) is the food-grade standard, while lower grades such as 202 corrode more easily with acidic foods. Brands own Independent lab testing on the finished product, not just a supplier certificate. No coatings or paint on any food-contact surface. And enough thickness to resist dents, since thin steel dents easily under daily use. This set is 304 stainless steel throughout, independently lab-tested by Greenvyne and certified to FDA and LFGB food-contact standards, free from heavy metals like lead and cadmium and naturally free from BPA and phthalates. Made with thicker steel at 0.6mm plates and 0.7mm bowls.

Is the set dishwasher safe?

Yes. All three are dishwasher-safe, and we recommend the top rack, especially for the cups' silicone grips. In hard water areas, dry after the cycle to prevent water spotting, which is cosmetic only.

Can I microwave stainless steel plates and bowls?

Standard stainless steel plates and bowls are not suitable for use in a conventional microwave. Transfer food to a microwave-safe glass or ceramic container to reheat, then serve in the stainless steel plate or bowl. The bowls are oven-safe up to 200 degrees Celsius, which works well for reheating without the chemical concerns associated with heating plastic containers.

Can I use a suction pad with the plates and bowls?
