Is the sippy cup leakproof?

Yes, it's designed to be highly spill-resistant. The new valved straw and sippy spout are designed to minimise spills from tipping. A second, free-flow straw is also included for thicker smoothies, which is not spill-proof.

Can I use it for thick smoothies?

Yes! The wide straw handles thicker drinks with ease — just rinse straight after use so nothing clogs.

Will the sleeve slip?

Nope. We moulded a tiny internal ridge so the silicone hugs the steel even when wet.

Why is there water under the silicone base of my stainless steel cup?

It’s normal for a small amount of water to get trapped under the silicone sleeve or base after washing. Simply remove the sleeve and let both parts air-dry fully before putting them back on. This prevents moisture build-up or odour. All Greenvyne cups use food-grade 304 stainless steel and FDA & EU certified silicone, designed to be safe, durable, and easy to clean.

Is stainless steel microwave-safe?

While steel reflects microwave energy, some purpose-designed stainless-steel containers can be used in microwaves under strict guidelines. Greenvyne bowls and plates are not microwave-safe. To warm food, transfer it to a microwave-safe glass or ceramic container.

Are these products safe for babies and toddlers?

We craft our products from high-quality, 18/8 (304) food-grade stainless steel. This is a durable material widely chosen for family tableware because it is easy to clean and does not retain odours or flavours from previous meals, making it a practical choice for everyday use.
